Google CEO Eric Schmidt, has courted controversy in the past by saying eerie things about the amount of personal information Google knows about its users.<\/p>\n
Schmidt recently said – \u2018If you have something that you don’t want anyone to know, maybe you shouldn’t be doing it in the first place.\u201d<\/p>\n
Schmidt also stated that young people will need to change their identities in future to hide from their internet history.<\/p>\n
However, his past statements do not even compare to some of the privacy bombs he dropped in a recent interview with the Atlantic Monthly.<\/p>\n
While discussing the possibility of a Google implanted chip that would track people and provide web access, Mr. Schmidt said he was not necessarily in support of a chip, but went on to state:<\/p>\n
\u201cWith your permission you give us more information about you, your friends, and we can improve the quality of our searches \u2026 We don’t need you to type at all. We know where you are. We know where you’ve been. We can more or less guess what you’re thinking about.\u201d<\/p>\n
