{"id":1012,"date":"2010-07-17T21:53:37","date_gmt":"2010-07-18T02:53:37","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.skipease.com\/blog\/?p=1012"},"modified":"2016-06-06T17:41:55","modified_gmt":"2016-06-06T22:41:55","slug":"florida-seminar","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.skipease.com\/blog\/public-records\/florida-seminar\/","title":{"rendered":"Florida Public Records Seminar"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The Naples Daily News will co-sponsor a public seminar on Florida&#8217;s public record laws in September 2010 inform people about the state&#8217;s open records and open meetings laws.<\/p>\n<p>The First Amendment Foundation and the Florida Bar Media &amp; Communications Committee produce the Florida public records seminars that are held throught the state.<\/p>\n<p>These organizations also produce an annual guidebook called \u201cGovernment-In-The-Sunshine Manual\u201d that explains Florida\u2019s public records and meetings laws, rules for public meetings and what fees state and local government can charge for public records requests.<\/p>\n<p>The seminar will start at 9 a.m. on Tuesday, Sept. 28, 2010.
