Missing California Girl Alinka Angeline Castaneda Found After Nearly Four Months

Alinka Angeline Castaneda, a young girl who had been missing for almost four months, has been found. Her disappearance had been shrouded in mystery, but a private investigator working with her family believes she was held captive by an unknown man. The family had received phone calls that led them to believe she was a victim of human trafficking.

The investigator, Moses Castillo, had previously addressed the presumed kidnapper, saying he knew his name and urging him to bring the girl to the Los Angeles County USC Medical Center. Law enforcement has not disclosed whether anyone has been arrested in connection with Castaneda’s disappearance.

Castaneda was last seen on January 1st in Carson, California, wearing a black shirt, black sweatpants, and a gold necklace. She was caught on a neighbor’s doorbell camera getting into an unidentified vehicle. The LASD had expressed concern for her well-being and referred to her as a “critical missing juvenile.”

Earlier this month, the city of Carson had offered a $100,000 reward for information leading to Castaneda’s safe return. However, law enforcement has not revealed how the girl was found or any other details about her disappearance.

According to reports, the girl has been reunited with her mother.
